Announcing Our New Scaleup Hub at Tech Central

We are excited to announce the opening of our third Sydney office. Our new Scaleup Hub office is located in the NSW Government's major investment into the tech and innovation ecosystem in Australia, the new Sydney Tech Central precinct. Our new Scaleup Hub is conveniently located on 24 Campbell Street, Haymarket, 2000, in close proximity to public transport options.

As a leading breeding ground for technology focused startups, entrepreneurs, specialized industry leaders and scale ups, the opening of our new office aligns with our company vision to build connections, empower innovation and support collaboration. As well as our mission to assist the Australian tech ecosystem scale and grow their businesses. The decision to expand to our fourth office comes on the back of a challenging few years navigating Covid and having to consolidate our business. Now as people start returning to the workplace and demand for premium flexible coworking space in Sydney is evolving our dedication to be able to better serve our members with even more exceptional co-working space, private offices and excellent event venues is even more important.

As the first coworking facility to open its doors in the new Tech Central precinct, our new facilities boast 5 floors with over 4,000 square meters of premium coworking facilities ready on opening. Our hub includes superior event spaces, exceptional meeting rooms, breakout spaces and a range of flexible private offices and open plan workspaces to suit a companies' every need. By the end of the year, we will have up to 7,000 sq m available for Scale ups. Our Scaleup Hub location will act as a launchpad for tech focused scaleups, and growing teams looking for a dynamic, innovative and collaborative community focused on entrepreneurship and innovation.

Our Scaleup Hub marks our fourth office in Australia. With our original Bridge Street office and our Startup Hub office located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, as well as our third office located within the CBD of Perth, Western Australia.

Currently, our community is home to 750+ members and 200+ companies, and our Scaleup Hub location will be a technology driven hub with the infrastructure to support businesses of all sizes with global aspirations looking to scale up. This is part of our commitment to support emerging and existing startup and now scale ups to continue being the leading home for innovation in the Australian tech ecosystem.

Our CEO Bradley Delamare comments on the news. “We’re delighted to be the first scale-up hub open and operational for business in Sydney’s Tech Central precinct. This is our first new hub since Covid-19 hit, and we’re anticipating rapid growth in demand this year due to the number of companies planning to continue flexible working arrangements they implemented during the pandemic. We’re aiming to double our capacity in the next 12 months on top of offering new business services. The Scaleup Hub already has a number of well-known Australian scale-up companies moved in and more signed up to move in and we’re filling up fast. It’s been a tough couple of years but 2022 is our 10-year anniversary and the future’s looking bright.”
