Tank Stream Labs will host its annual Female Entrepreneur Week from Monday 13 August – 17 August 2018, across Sydney and Perth.

  • Did you know that only 3% of tech firms are founded by women, yet when funded they deliver 35% higher ROI than male led firms?
  • We all know about the gender pay gap but what is less known is the gender investment gap. According to global consultancy, BCG, when women business owners pitch their ideas to investors for early-stage capital, the disparity averages more than amillion than men.[1]
  • Start Up Muster’s 2017 Report revealed the number of female founders is continuing to trend upwards, sitting at 25.4% up from 23.5% the previous year.[2] While there is growth we need to find ways we can support female entrepreneurs starting out in the Australian market.

The week will include events, panel discussions, workshops and presentations from more than 50 speakers.

Our expert speakers will discuss their experiences, the challenges they faced, their advice for those starting out and what we can all do to support Australian female entrepreneurs.

See further information on each of the events and registration pages.
