Job Description:

We are growing as a business and we need a Community Manager for one of our Sydney Hubs. You will play a crucial role in creating a unique and tailored experience for our members. Your mission is to foster a collaborative, educational, and engaging environment that supports our members' objectives and goals. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
 

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with members proactively, offering a personalised experience by understanding their needs, goals, and objectives, and ensuring our services align with them.

  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a high level of member satisfaction and retention.

  • Efficiently resolve member grievances when they arise.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to create social media content that aligns with our messaging on various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Also, assist in curating member and alumni updates for our weekly newsletter.

  • Collaborate with the events team to contribute to event planning, identifying areas/topics of interest for educational and community events, and actively promoting and managing event attendance.

  • Support the Business Development Manager by engaging in sales tours and converting leads by showcasing how we can best support their needs.

  • Collaborate with Operations to forecast upcoming membership changes, occupancy levels, and provide general member reporting.

Space Management and Administration:

  • Partner with Operations to maintain the premium quality of our workspace and improve all aspects of it.

  • Assist with the management of space inventory and supply levels.

  • Onboard members to our platforms.

  • Handle postal mail and notify relevant members of package deliveries.

  • Assist in coordinating team moves, arrivals, and departures.

  • Act as a TSL representative during building emergencies as a floor warden and first aid representative, managing OH&S reporting and resolution.

Sales and Retention:

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to generate, engage, and convert sales leads by tailoring interactions to highlight how we can best support them.

  • Conduct space tours when required, customising each tour to the visitor's needs.

  • Generate membership agreements upon successful sales conversions and assist new members in understanding and completing these agreements.

  • Work with the Head of Operations to forecast upcoming membership changes, occupancy levels, and general member reporting.

  • Focus on maintaining occupancy by proactively resolving potential membership issues, identifying upgrade and retention opportunities, and nurturing inbound leads.

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Tank Stream Labs, you will play a pivotal role in supporting sales and marketing operations to achieve the strategic targets of the business and enhance customer satisfaction. 


This position requires a proactive and organised individual who can efficiently manage sales and marketing-related tasks whilst collaborating with various stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a forward-thinking company in the technology ecosystem. You will be joining our dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded community, having the opportunity to work among some of the most innovative and creative minds in the Australia technology industry, which will significantly contribute to your personal and professional growth. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Sales

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to generate, engage, and convert sales leads by tailoring interactions to highlight how we can best support them.

  • Manage third-party online platforms, ensuring pricing and stock availability are up to date.

  • Conduct office tours, customising each tour to the visitor's needs.

  • Focus on our Tank Stream Labs services and actively sell these to current members and external prospects.

  • Perform detailed analysis on sales performance and report to the Management team.

  • Conduct regular competitor research to understand the ever evolving market dynamics

  • Opportunities to think outside of the box and implement new processes and conduct new sales activities.

  • Attend networking events in the start up and technology industry.

 

Marketing:

  • Create and action outbound and inbound sales campaigns.  

  • Design and develop continuous new content for internal and external purposes.

  • Lead large marketing campaigns linked to sales and develop the creative content that supports these campaigns.

  • Create and action social media content that aligns with our messaging through all of our digital and social marketing channels. 

  • Be creative and develop new marketing strategies.
